“But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.” (Luke 6:35 KJV)
Unthankful…evil. I have been unthankful and I have done evil things in the sight of the Lord. Jesus had more than enough reason to do away with me, but He chose to continue loving on me instead, providing for me. Being a child of the King means we take on His likeness and we choose to do what’s right even when people have wronged us.
