Using artistry to empower the Kingdom

by Jacqueline S. Sadberry
Editor in Chief

This beautiful woman of God and wife is Liz Castro. She’s  a painter, photographer, calligrapher and highly talented.

The first time I saw her work I was captivated by it. As a poet, I know that it is possible to take words to create art, but when it came to calligraphy it was a completely different world to me. Here was someone literally taking words and making incredible works of art for a living. Her pieces are quite exceptional and I strongly encourage you to go and take a peek at her artwork.

I really wanted to showcase some stellar calligraphy and Liz popped into my mind. The picture above is from her 30 day biblical calligraphy series. I hope to feature more calligraphers in the Safe Haven in the future. It truly is a uniquely magnificent world.

If you’d like to see even more of her works, you can visit her website directly: mrslizcastro.com or you can follow her on social media (all listed on her website at the bottom.)
