A WORD FROM THE EDITOR
Daily Digest: The Life
This week I kept trying to write some things down that I wanted to share, but no matter what I couldn’t get anything on the page. Finally I just had to accept that perhaps it wasn’t time for me to share my testimony just yet. Maybe there’s something else that God needs me to receive from all of this first before releasing me to spread the message onward.
So I’m going to be patient and wait on His timing. In the meantime, I found an article that I think is similar to one of the things I’ve experienced. It was a reminder for me and I hope it’s a nice reminder for you. I follow a blog on WordPress called Arise Woman and this is her piece:

Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2016, “Where Is Your Faith? (Numbers 13:27-30; 14:6-9)
In these two particular passages, the children of Israel are preparing to go into the land that God has promised them. Twelve men went to go and spy out the land but only Jacob and Caleb came back with a good report. The rest of the twelve only saw obstacles, but Jacob and Caleb trusted the Lord to come through on His promise. They refused to allow what they saw to discourage them or the people from moving forward, “The children of Israel were already promised the land…it was just a matter of them trusting God.”
It seems to be rather perplexing how it is that there were still so many people who had little to no faith in God after all the miracles He performed. The Lord freed them from slavery after all the signs and wonders He did in Egypt. He reduced them from pharaoh’s armies by helping them get across the Red Sea. God fed them, kept them and led them at night with a pillar of fire. Then here comes some gigantic people and they were panicking again.
But just as a lot of the children of Israel were with their faith, we can often be the same way. Having faith means you have “a firm belief of God’s testimony” and a “reliance of Christ.” You trust and know God is not going to let you down or go back on what He told you. We have to cement this into our minds, “The battle is won and lost in the mind.” This fight can only be won through the Word of God, but just because you go to church every Sunday doesn’t mean you have received the Word. Are you spending time outside of the church and bible study to get into your Bible and read for yourself? Do you even believe that the Bible is more than just a book, but the Living Word?
“Everything we do should be rooted in God, but you have to build your faith… Whatever you take into your Spirit is what you will project out.” Each day you are planting seeds, whether they be spiritual or carnal. If you are taking in more of the world than you are of God, then you are planting seeds of destruction, “You can’t wonder why you react the way you do to certain things if the stuff you’re taking in is tearing down your faith.”
Your faith should be growing and you should have a willingness to increase it.
THE ART GALLERY
Using artistry to empower the Kingdom
NOW PRESENTING: TYPOGRAPHY, POETRY
I decided that The Art Gallery should start featuring more than one work. I also want to try to showcase something different each week (as much as possible) for you all. That being said, I’ll be featuring some typography videos this time around.
Typography is no easy feat. Anyone who works with editing and graphics can attest to that. I find it amazing there are people who take the time to make videos like these. The first link down below is to a music video for Richie Righteous, a song called By Myself.
Next is another typography video of one of my favorite poems by poet Propaganda, G.O.S.P.E.L. For this video, the artist included sounds to amplify the text of the poem itself. The artist’s name is Alexander Somoskey.
If you would like to be considered for a feature in The Art Gallery or if you know someone else who does amazing work for Christ, please email me at: firstname.lastname@example.org
